On December 6, 1969 Led Zeppelin made their debut on the US singles chart with 'Whole Lotta Love'. It went on to make No.4 on the chart and was the first of six Top 40 singles for the group in the US.
During the
band’s career, Zeppelin never released any singles in the UK except 1997, when a
4:50 edit of this song was issued to celebrate the band's 30th anniversary. It
is the only single Led Zeppelin released
in the UK, but this release got little attention, reaching just #21.
