Ronnie Spector, the artist who helped define the sound of a generation has passed away from cancer yesterday, January 12, 2022, at the age of 78.
I don’t have much to add to what has already been written
or said about Ronnie Spector career [solo & with The Ronettes] except the
three following songs. See the titles, read the lyrics and listen once again Ronnie’s
timeless voice.
Ronnie Spector - (If I Could) Walk Away
Face the music of a lie
Every day until I die
And you know that I will
Ronnie Spector - Here Today, Gone Tomorrow [Ramones]
I think of times we were together,
As time went on it seemed forever,
Times have changed now things are better,
Someone had to pay the price.
Ronnie Spector - There Is An End [The Greenhornes]
Spring brings the rain,
With winter comes pain,
Every season has an end.
Ronnie Spector - I'll Follow The Sun [The Beatles]
One day you'll look
To see I've gone
For tomorrow may rain
So I'll follow the sun
Some day you'll know
I was the one
Rest in peace Ronnie … We know you were the one!!
