The
Rokes were from England, but their career started in Italy and one of
their first songs, which became a hit in 1966, was "Piangi Con Me".
The same melody but with English lyrics and the title "Let's Live For Today" was released by them in the United Kingdom.
The song was adapted, among others, by the Americans The Grass Roots and it was their first gold record.
