After leaving Fleetwood Mac in 1970, Peter Green (29 October 1946 – 25 July 2020) went into a kind of retirement, until the early 1980s when he began touring again.
In the meantime he made two appearances [as far as I know], in Fleetwood Mac’s records, with a brief guitar contribution at the end of "Night Watch” from Penguin [1973] and playing guitar in "Brown Eyes" from Tusk [1979]
His solo discography consists of the albums The End of the Game (1970), In the Skies (1979), Little Dreamer (1980), Whatcha Gonna Do? (1981), White Sky (1982) and Kolors (1983) and all of them are part of my record collection.
“A Case for the Blues” recorded between December 1983 and January 1984 and released in 1985, was the only album of Katmandu, a band of successful musicians from differing musical backgrounds, including Peter Green, Ray Dorset of Mungo Jerry and Vincent Crane of Atomic Rooster.
The album has been re-released several times, sometimes credited to Peter Green, as solo album and sometimes to Peter Green and Friends.
