What I like about song remakes is when the artist who takes old songs, puts his own style and manages to make them his own, giving them a freshness, without depriving them of magic.
Even though I don’t call myself a Jack White’s fan, I have to admit that he has the ability to unearth known and unknown songs from the past days and gives them a fresh spark.
