According to legend, Bob Seger "smoked other people's songs" and he gathered some of them in his 1972 “Smokin' O.P.'s” album. Through the years, Seger proved that he is a terrific interpreter of other writers' songs, turning them into something fresh and original. Here are 21 of “his songs”, which stand (it’s my opinion) side by side to the originals.
Since last November, Tuesday was for covers, but from now on Monday will be the day for remakes, interpretations or simply covers of songs.
I've never been a big fan of Seger, I don't know much beyond his hits, but this peaked my interest. I'll let you know what I think
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit and your comment. I'm not a big fan of the artist either, but I always liked to look for something beyond the big hits
