Monday's Song : James Brown - Payback

 

April 18, 1974 and James Brown receives a Gold record for the single "The Payback", which had topped the Billboard R&B chart. It would also peak at #26 on the Billboard Hot 100 in May, becoming his second and final single to be certified Gold by the RIAA.
