Friday Rocks!!! ... with King Crimson

This Friday starts with an Epitaph, one of my all-time favourite songs and belongs to a band whose records I used to listen again and again.

"Heroes", the last song, is from King Crimson's 1976 live appearence in Berlin and "Robert Fripp reprise the unforgettable guitar role he created for the original David Bowie studio recording in the same city in 1977, particularly poignant in the year of Bowie's death" [www.dgmlive.com].

King Crimson - Epitaph (BBC Radio Sessions, 1969)

King Crimson - Starless (Live in Paris 1972)

King Crimson – Waiting Man & Sleepless (Live in Japan 1984)

King Crimson - The Light of Day (Live in Paris 2015)

Monday's Song : Nina Simone – Feeling Good

Another Monday morning has broken.

It's a new dawn

It's a new day

It's a new life For me

And I'm feeling good

"Feeling Good" (also known as "Feelin' Good") is a song written by English composers Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse for the musical “The Roar of the Greasepaint – The Smell of the Crowd”. It was first performed on stage in 1964 by Cy Grant on the UK tour and by Gilbert Price in 1965 with the original Broadway cast.
