Monday's Song : White Dove by The Scorpions

 

The day after Pentecost, Monday, the Orthodox Church honors the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Holy Trinity and the Holy Trinity in general - The descent of the Holy Spirit took place on Sunday, however, we also celebrate the Holy Spirit Monday separately.

Today's song, a song of hope, is entitled White Dove, since the Holy Spirit is always depicted as this beautiful bird, and is sung by Scorpions.

It’s a cover of the 1969 song "Gyöngyhajú lány" by the Hungarian band Omega.

Friday Rocks with Mott The Hoople

If anyone asked me why I chose Mott the Hoople to rock on my Friday, the easiest answer would be that Ian Hunter is one of them. Although this is "The Truth, the Whole Truth & Nuthin 'but the Truth", it's certainly unfair for a band to be chosen because of a single musician, while the other members are also remarkable, but I can’t hide that I'm a fan of his work.

Anyway, here is a compilation of Mott The Hoople for those who like them or just want to listen to some of their songs as well as the above Ian Hunter’s song, which I like.
