Dr. John, a giant of the New Orleans music scene, passed away like today on 06/06/2019, at the age of 77.
"Music is the only thing that keeps me alive and happy. If it were not for the music, I would have thrown in the towel", he told in a 2011 interview.
Today I have for you a compilation with some of the most famous songs of Dr. John, covered by other artists.

The theme of today's compilation was inevitable and the selection of songs was rather easy.
